Operational Brain is committed to handling personal information responsibly and, where applicable, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we are

Operational Brain provides operational knowledge discovery, structuring, governance, AI-readiness assessment and related advisory services.

Information we may collect

Operational Brain may collect personal information and business enquiry information that you choose to provide, including your name, work email address, organisation, role, industry, operational area or process, proposed AI use, a description of the operational problem, and related correspondence.

The website may also generate technical information through normal hosting, security and server operation, such as request information, device or browser information, IP address, timestamps, error information and similar operational logs.

Please do not submit confidential customer, employee, commercially sensitive or system information through the initial enquiry form.

How information is collected

Information may be collected when you submit the workflow enquiry form, email Operational Brain, communicate directly about services, or access the website through normal web technology.

The website does not currently include file uploads, user accounts, CAPTCHA, a newsletter sign-up, tracking pixels or embedded third-party media.

Why information is collected

Information is collected and used to respond to enquiries, understand prospective client requirements, assess whether Operational Brain services may be appropriate, communicate about requested services, administer client relationships, improve website and service operation, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Operational Brain does not sell enquiry information.

Contact and workflow information

Information submitted through the workflow enquiry form is initially used to evaluate and respond to the enquiry.

Please do not submit confidential operational data, personal information about employees or customers, passwords, credentials, system access information or other sensitive information through the initial enquiry form.

Disclosure to service providers

Information may be processed by third-party providers that are necessary to operate the website and communications. Based on the current website implementation, these include the website hosting and infrastructure provider used by Sites and Cloudflare Workers, and Resend for contact-form email delivery when email delivery is configured.

These providers may process information on Operational Brain's behalf for hosting, security, logging, email delivery and related operational purposes.

Overseas processing

Some technology service providers may process or store information outside Australia, subject to their infrastructure and contractual arrangements. The current repository does not establish all countries where provider processing may occur.

Data security

Operational Brain uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected, legitimate business requirements and applicable legal obligations.

Access and correction

You may contact hello@operationalbrain.com to request access to, or correction of, personal information held about you, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.

Privacy enquiries and complaints

Privacy questions or complaints can be sent to hello@operationalbrain.com. Operational Brain will consider and respond to privacy concerns within a reasonable period.

Where Australian privacy legislation gives an individual additional complaint rights, those rights remain available.

Direct marketing

Operational Brain does not currently operate a newsletter or marketing mailing list through this website. If commercial electronic marketing is introduced, it will be managed in accordance with applicable Australian spam laws, including consent and unsubscribe requirements.

Cookies and analytics

The current website implementation does not include non-essential cookies, analytics tags or tracking pixels. Normal hosting and security systems may still process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website.

Third-party links

The website may link to external websites. Operational Brain is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites.
